CANPAK 500

PURPOSE OF THE MACHINE

CANPAK 500 is a mobile can filling intended for filling all types of craft beer in mini breweries. This machine is intended for rinsing, filling, closing and final washing of cans in 0.33 l, 0.44 l and 0.5 l formats, manufactured by Ball Packaging. Changing the filling volume is very quick and easy and takes a maximum of 30 minutes.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Machine CANPAK 500 is a horizontal type, linear and automated, with manual loading of cans on the rotary table. According to the type of drive elements, this is a pneumatic electro-mechanical machine.

The work process is electronically controlled. The machine consists of the following assemblies, which in technical and technological terms represent a single unit: rinsing unit, rotary inlet table, CO2 injection unit, beer filling unit, slide for lowering and positioning lids, lid lacing unit, tub for final rinsing of cans. The machine also includes an integrated CIP for washing the rinsing unit and the filling heads. The can conveyor is a moving linear belt. An integral part of the machine are elements for adjusting the position of the filling heads, slides for lowering the closures and welders depending on the size of the packaging, as well as conveyor carriers and protective linings.

The drive unit consists of a gear motor for driving the line belt and a frequency-controlled motor for driving the rotary table. This mechanism ensures continuous movement of the conveyor, as well as precise positioning of the cans on the workstations. The dosing module is designed as a time-regulated dispenser with pneumatic drive and visual control of the dosing quantity. Dosing of beer is done directly from the tanks. The valve system performs the dosing separation for each head individually and the possibility of correction in two levels. The unit for separating and lowering the lids consists of a magazine in which the lids are placed, a slide for lowering the individual lids, as well as an adjustable mechanism for placing the lids on a filled can. The lacing unit consists of a stand, a pneumatic cylinder for positioning the cans, two motors with reducer for welder drive, pneumatic cylinder for lifting the can to the lace position, two titanium welders for final closing. After closing, the cans fall into the tub with water for final rinsing, and the lids are dried manually at a special pneumatic unit. There is also an integrated weighing scale on the line.

CANPAK 500 is made of stainless steel and the process is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC).
