ETPAK RF
PURPOSE OF THE MACHINE
ETPAK RF – Roll Feed is intended for applying PP labels on already filled and closed bottles. It is one of the machines that form a line in filling, closing, labeling and forming collective product packaging. Depending on the market needs, the machine can be used to label bottles of different shapes (square, rectangular, round), of different dimensions. The bottles themselves can be made of different materials. The machine can be used in the food and chemical industries.
The basic version of the machine is intended for placing labels on bottles (PET bottles or bottles made of some other material). Maximum utilization of the machine is ensured by synchronization of assemblies, which ensures maximum line capacity. The machine has its own drive, so it can work independently.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
ETPAK RF – Roll Feed is an automatic machine, designed for applying polypropylene labels on bottles. The machine is an assembly of servo, mechanical and pneumatic drive whose modules and assemblies are interconnected into one logical unit which is controlled by a PLC controller.
With the ETPAK RF – Roll Feed machine, the label is wrapped completely around the bottle. The bottles enter the machine via an inlet conveyor whose operation is synchronized with the speed of the machine. The machine can have its own conveyor, and can also be implemented in an existing line with an existing bottle transport system. At the entrance to the machine, the bottles encounter a screw of a progressive step, whose task is to bring the bottles to the appropriate axial distance, to the step of the input star, that is. the carousel itself. The bottles brought to the appropriate step via the input star and the distributor system enter the carousel which, with the help of specially profiled trays and presses, keeps the bottle strictly in the zone of the kinematic circle of the carousel.
Depending on the shape of the bottle, it is rotated around its own axis on the carousel. The carousel bottle that rotates around its axis leads to a vacuum drum that applies a label smeared with hot glue and cut to the correct size on the bottle. The speed of rotation of the bottle and the vacuum drum is harmonized so that during the rotation, the label is tightened around the bottle. At the end of the labeling process, the bottle passes by the iron, through the exit star and leaves the machine from there. Unwinding the label from the reel, cutting the label, applying hot glue to its beginning and end and the transfer of the label to the bottle is done using special assemblies. Responsible assemblies for this operation are the assembly for unwinding the label from the reel, transfer rollers, system for photo detection of stamps, assembly for cutting the label using a special rotary and static knife, assembly for applying hot glue, as well as assembly with vacuum drum for downloading ready label and its further application to the bottle.
